I have been recording my makeup tutorials, uploaded them on YouTube and will be embedding them onto my website as soon as I get the text done I'll be uploading both images and videos.
This is an image that consists of three different poses I have taken after my leopard eye tutorial that I have recorded. I have cut the background of the original three images of me on Adobe Photoshop. Then I searched a leopard background on Google Images, placed it onto Photoshop and used the three images of me appear on top of the leopard background. This will be uploaded under the sub-menu 'eyes'. The parent of 'eyes' is 'makeup' that will be found on the menu on the homepage of the website.
This is the tutorial of the leopard eye look. I have even put an audio onto this video which is 'Gypsy' by Shakira. I was avoiding any audio that has to do with wild cats as it is too cliche, so I picked a song that would go with motion of the video and style. There is no dialogue in this video. I have edited the motion of the video, it is a fast motion video so it isn't a long video and the audience don't become bored and uninterested. I have made the speed up by 70% and the video is up to four minutes long. The software I have used to edit the video is Adobe Premier Pro on my laptop.
My other material I have put onto makeup is occasions. The occasion section of makeup is a page full of tutorials, text and advice on makeup that would be worn on different occasions through the year. For example, I have started on a dress up occasion which is Halloween. I have chosen the 'cat look' as it is a popular dress up character on Halloween or any other dress up party as it is sassy, sexy, fun and easy to get a hold of. It is also cheap to do, I want to help the users to look like this without spending too much money and is in their budget.
This is the image of the final look to the 'cat look'. This has been edited in Adobe Photoshop, and the pictures have been taken by an Nikon digital camera. I have cut out the background of the original three images of me, placed it on a spooky dark background that I have found Google Images. I have also edited the colours, brightness, sharpness and exposure. I have gone for the dark look, bats flying around and spooky house to go with the Halloween theme. I have made it friendly too as some of my audience will be young teenagers from the age of 13. I have also written up the title on the image 'Halloween Make-Up' on the bottom of the image to identify the audience with the occasion I am doing. The video is still in progress, I have been using Adobe Premier Pro as well, and the song I went for is 'Walk Like an Egyptian' by The Bangles. I was going to use the song 'Cool Cat' by Queen, however Queen are an 80s rock band and I was afraid that the audience wouldn't relate to the song and they might be put off by the video and not carry on watching because of the choice of the song on the tutorial video.
This is a video of the song, so it will give you an idea what the song sounds like and what the final product will be all about.
The third tutorial video is under the sub-menu 'Looks'. I went with an Hawaiian makeup look as I was going to a party that night, Hawaiian themed of course. I thought I would do a quick tutorial video of this look for the users.
This image is the final product. This has been edited in Adobe Photoshop, the background is a Hawaiian background that has been found on Google Images. The tutorial as at the bottom that has been edited in Adobe Premier Pro. The speed of the video has also been edited to make it speed up. The song that I have used is 'Come and Get It' by Selena Gomez.
Other images that have been used for 'Hair' have been added onto the Meta Slider plugin that has a little slide show. These images were taken from Google Images. I have been using mixed materials that are mine or other people's images.
